Advanced Placement "AP"
Advanced Placement (AP) courses are a head-start to college. Completing AP courses and exams means taking college-level coursework in high school. Studies consistently show that AP students are better prepared for college than students who don’t take APs, regardless of exam scores. High scores also satisfy college graduation requirements, so each AP exam can get you out of a class and save you thousands of dollars in tuition!
Taking an AP course and exam helps you stand out to colleges, universities, and scholarship programs by showing them you’re willing to work hard to understand and complete college-level work.
